SUBMISSIONS
From the current Editor of the AIC Annual Review: Verena M. SCHINDLER
The next AIC Annual Review, Volume 40 (2026), is scheduled for publication in March 2027.
Please submit your 2026 report by 31 December 2026.

The following items will be addressed:
- The AIC President's Report.
- AIC Financial Report.
- Summaries of AIC Awards, Congresses and Conferences.
- Reports from AIC Regular, Associate and Affiliated Members.
- Reports from AIC Study Groups.
- International Colour Day Reports.
- Tributes to Colour Researchers.
Please submit news about your activities, details of events, conferences and meetings, as well as interesting projects, current research and new publications, including those undertaken by your members. Please ensure that your submission meets the minimum quality standards. Submissions that are considered suitable will be subject to peer review before a decision is made on whether to accept them. 

Submission Preparation Checklist
1. Send all your documents together by 31 December at the latest.
2. Language: English.
3. File format: MS Word (.docx).
4. The submitted text should be no more than 2,000 words long.
5. Add a list of numbered captions at the end of the text.
6. Submit no more than four high-quality JPEG images (300 dpi), each with a short descriptive caption. Please send these images as individual files and do not embed them in a Word document.
7. Submit the logo of your association, study group and/or the AIC Congress/Conference as an additional JPEG image.
8. All references must be checked for accuracy and completeness.
9. All tables and figures must be numbered and labelled.
10. Permission has been obtained to publish all photographs, datasets and other material provided with your submission.
11. Please submit your documents to annualreview@aic-color.org.

By submitting these texts, images and other data, you confirm that you are authorised to publish them. You also release the AIC from any liability towards third parties if your declarations are found to be untrue.

  1. Source of Personal Data
    Users provide their personal data directly during registration to the AIC Annual Review website.
  2. Purpose of Data Processing
    Personal data is used to enable access to the website and participation in the activities of the AIC Annual Review, including manuscript submission, peer review, and communication between users.
  3. Legal Basis
    The processing of personal data complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The legal basis is the performance of a contract (use of the OMP platform) and compliance with legal obligations related to AIC Annual Review management.

  4. Recipients of Personal Data
    Personal data is accessible only to authorized association members and will never be transferred to unauthorized third parties.
  5. Transfer of Data Outside the EU
    No personal data will be transferred outside the European Union. Data is stored on servers provided by Aruba S.p.A., located in Italy, EU.
  6. Data Retention Period Data will be retained for a maximum of 10 years from the registration date or the last significant activity on the website.
  7. Right to Erasure
    Users can request the deletion of their personal data by closing their account directly through the website or writing to *** specifying which AIC publication they wish to be deleted from.
